District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) was transformed into District Rural Development Cell(DRDC) as a wing of Zilla Parishad to act as the nodal agency in the field of implementation of Swarnajayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojna(SGSY) at the district level. DRDC carries out the responsibilities along with the Block level administration, local Panchayati Raj Institutions and Commercial Banks operating within the district in all the twenty two Blocks covering two hundred Gram Panchayats.
